Spinach-Basil Pesto

Prep Time

5 minutes


2 Handfuls Spinach

1 Bunch Fresh Basil

1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/2 cup Walnuts or Pine Nuts

Zest and Juice of 1 Lemon

1-2 Cloves Garlic

Optional: Parmesan Cheese to taste


Place all ingredients in food processor or blender and pulse to desired consistency.


Enjoy with whole wheat or brown rice pasta, use as a spread, mix with vegetables for grilling or sauteing, or enjoy as a dip.
